Presented by Mr. David Stein, PMP, PMI-RMP, ITILContracting with the Federal Government presents a lucrative but often intimidating opportunity for many businesses. This one-day overview attempts to demystify the subject by introducing participants to the Federal Procurement Cycle, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Contract Types, Cost Accounting and Timesheet keeping standards pertaining to Federal contracting and other topics. Participants will learn where to look for opportunities and how to read and understand Federal RFP’s, as well as be exposed to industry “best practices” for preparing a compliant proposal and the process for their evaluation. Team-taught by two Federal contracting professionals with almost a half-century of experience, participants will also have opportunities to pose their own questions.
