Contracting with the Federal Government presents a lucrative but often intimidating opportunity for many businesses. This one-day overview attempts to demystify the subject by introducing participants to the Federal Procurement Cycle, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Contract Types, Cost Accounting and Timesheet keeping standards pertaining to Federal contracting and other topics. Participants will learn where to look for opportunities and how to read and understand Federal RFP’s, as well as be exposed to industry “best practices” for preparing a compliant proposal and the process for their evaluation. Team-taught by two Federal contracting professionals with almost a half-century of experience, participants will also have opportunities to pose their own questions.Time and Location Information

Instructors: David Stein, PMP, is a contractor and consultant with over 23 years of direct Federal contracting experience managing every variation of task order available and has led or participated in over 200 proposals. His clients have included DOD, DHS, HHS, and most recently the Executive Office of the President.
