SESSION DESCRIPTION Project management practitioners understand the benefits of establishing a PMO. In today’s competitive business marketplace, a resource for project management knowledge, standards, processes, templates, and best practices, cannot be over stated. This session will share how EXCEED Corporation, a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and ISO 9001:2008 certified organization, who provides a broad range of technical, management, and administrative services to the Federal Government, fused together PMBOK processes, ITIL v3 best practices, and ISO standards, to implement a PMO approach that encompasses the best that each methodology has to offer. The discussion will also include lessons learned and will share valuable resources for those interested in PMO implementation.
