Deadline is February 28th!

Background

PMIBC’s most important goal is to actively promote and develop the Project Management profession within our community. We are always looking for new ways to engage our membership in an effort to educate, share lessons learned, exchange best practices, and grow with the Project Management community and its ecosystems. That’s why we are excited and proud to announce our annual Project of the Year Award.

  • Establishing best practices
  • Expanding Project Management applicability
  • Strengthening Project Management credibility
  • Inviting stakeholders into active participation
  • Leveraging professional knowledge and experience
  • Embracing community outreach
  • Providing meaningful membership programming
  • Facilitating exchange of knowledge and experience

We simply cannot think of a better way to continue meeting these goals than by recognizing a local project team for their excellence in Project Management! This excellence is demonstrated through the execution of the processes and procedures consistent with A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide – Fourth Edition).

Below, we’ve provided some information on the PMI Project of the Year Award. This award is completely separate from the Baltimore Chapter’s award and they are not mutually exclusive. You can win both! We encourage you to apply for the POY Global Operations in addition to the PMIBC POY award. Although you must apply for each separately, the information required to apply for both awards is similar.
