The mission of PMI Baltimore’s Project Management Office (PMO) is to serve as the Chapter’s primary resource for project management knowledge, including but not limited to, standards, processes, and templates. The PMO shall spear-head the establishment of best-practices which will lead to greater efficiencies within the Chapter, provide a value-add to the Chapter membership, and support the greater community.

The Objectives of the PMO are to:

  • Standardize and implement project management processes and procedures to be leveraged for internal projects sponsored by the Baltimore Chapter of PMI

  • Establish a project management resource library to facilitate the sharing of project management information and best practices Chapter-wide

  • Become an ambassador of the project management profession in the community through the establishment of a Chapter PMO Users Group

  • Create a network through which the Membership can become more active in the Chapter by volunteering to lead internal initiatives
