One of PMI's sister organizations, the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering, is pioneering the Earned Value trail with the Earned Value Professional Certification (EVP). This certification affords the recipient the ability to assure government and private sector clients alike that they understand the infrastructure required to establish an EVMS and understand the interpretation and implications of all aspects of earned value data. In this two-day session, you will learn about the four sections of the full-day exam (and why, if you are PMP certified, one of them is a breeze). You will work through some of the more complex approaches to earned value claiming and you will gain a clear vision as to what to expect in the challenging 90-minute essay section of the exam. You will get practice on most of EVM problems, learn how to structure your own math practice and learn what to look for in terms of EVM resource material. Carl Pritchard, EVP, will challenge your assumptions on earned value and will ensure you have a clear sense of what's coming your way when you sit for the EVP exam. Non Members $799.00. Time and Location Information
April 8 & 9 2010. Classes are 8:30 - 4:30 (8:00 - 8:30 registration). Loyola College, 2034 Greenspring Drive, Timonium,MD 21093. Course Manual is provided. There is a cancellation fee of $100.00 if not cancelled three days prior to the class start date. Directions: I-695 to I-83 North (Harrisburg Expressway) Exit 16A, Timonium troad East. Greenspring Drive is the first right turn after leaving I-83. The Graduate Center parking lot is the second right turn.

Meeting Information
The PMI Baltimore Chapter hosts monthly dinner meetings and bi-monthly luncheon meetings.
Dinner meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month and alternate between the Crowne Plaza in Timonium MD and the Ramada Inn BWI in Hanover MD. They start at 6:00 PM.
We will be having bi-monthly Annapolis dinner meetings on the fourth Wednesday of the month at Carrol's Creek Cafe. The Annapolis meetings start at 5:30 with an hour for networking, dinner starts at 6:30, and the presentation starts at 7:30.
We will also be having a bi-monthly dinner meeting in the Salisbury, MD area on the alternating months on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Adam's the Place for Ribs restaurant in Fruitland. The Eastern Shore dinner meetings start at 6:00 PM.
Every other month, we will be meeting in Frederick, MD, at the Red Horse Steak House. Networking starts at 6pm, with dinner at 7pm, and a presentation starting promptly at 8pm.
We also hold luncheon meetings in Columbia, MD on the fourth Monday of the month at the Howard County Business Center, 6751 Columbia Gateway, Columbia, MD 21046. These meetings start at 11:30 AM. Please note that payment for the Columbia luncheon meeting is at the door. Online payment via PayPal is currently not available for the Columbia luncheon meetings.
We also have events at NASA Space Flight Facility at Wallops Island, VA and at Aberdeen, MD.
