A proven methodology for Aligning Stakeholder Expectations

Presented by Raj S Leyl, PMP

Dinner & Networking Meeting (Timonium, Maryland)
One of the most common, and prevalent reasons for project failure that is constantly documented by leading research organizations such as Gartner and Forrester, is failing to manage stakeholder expectations. This session will provide an overview of a proven process and framework that helps to set, and manage project expectations up front, and promotes alignment across all stakeholder groups. The speaker will highlight the must-have items to cover during a project kickoff session, who to include, and output that the session generates that helps define the project and set clear expectations. Raj S. Leyl is an Executive Director at SevaTec, a rapidly growing, CMMI level 3 certified professional services firm specializing in business transformation, human capital management, and IT consulting services. In this role, he provides executive leadership in ensuring that all services are delivered consistently using Sevatec’s proven project management engagement methodology. He also helps to oversee and streamline Sevatec’s business and IT operations and is responsible to scale processes to support the company’s growth.
