Communications at Multiple Levels Do you ever wonder how a simple message gets misinterpreted? As Chief Operating Officer of RelianceNet, Raj S. Leyl, MBA, PMP, has a dual focus on high-level strategic issues and also hands-on project management. Leyl has over 15 years of IT and project management experience, seven of which were spent implementing operational processes to support Project Management Offices (PMO) at organizations such as American Airlines, Avis, State of Maryland Judiciary, and Mentor Technologies. Amy holds a Bachelors of Arts (BA) from Messiah College in Communications, brings a mix of Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial experience and believes in a strong balance of standardization and fast innovation.

As Chief Operating Officer of RelianceNet, Raj S. Leyl, MBA, PMP, has a dual focus on high-level strategic issues and also hands-on project management. Leyl has over 15 years of IT and project management experience, seven of which were spent implementing operational processes to support Project Management Offices (PMO) at organizations such as American Airlines, Avis, State of Maryland Judiciary, and Mentor Technologies. Leyl has also successfully led large-scale enterprise projects for Fortune 500 firms, as well as state and federal government agencies. Leyl holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, and several master level certifications from Brainbench, in project management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), change management, and business process reengineering. Amy Mininger, Director of Client Development at RelianceNet, focuses on standardizing the sales process and continuing to evolve client service delivery, initially targeting associations and professional services companies. Amy has over 13 years of business development and marketing experience, most recently with gantthead.com, a project management resource with over 376,000 members. There, she secured the GSA award, designed and launched their international PMI Partnership Program, established a Federal partnership with the parent company and closed large corporate deals. She also served as a business growth consultant, launching her own company, MarComFly, which served associations, accounting and business services firms and small IT companies. Amy holds a Bachelors of Arts (BA) from Messiah College in Communications, brings a mix of Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial experience and believes in a strong balance of standardization and fast innovation. Meeting Information

The PMI Baltimore Chapter hosts monthly dinner meetings and bi-monthly luncheon meetings.

Dinner meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month and alternate between the Crowne Plaza in Timonium MD and the Ramada Inn BWI in Hanover MD. They start at 6:00 PM.

We will be having bi-monthly Annapolis dinner meetings on the fourth Wednesday of the month at Carrol's Creek Cafe. The Annapolis meetings start at 5:30 with an hour for networking, dinner starts at 6:30, and the presentation starts at 7:30.

We will also be having a bi-monthly dinner meeting in the Salisbury, MD area on the alternating months on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Adam's the Place for Ribs restaurant in Fruitland. The Eastern Shore dinner meetings start at 6:00 PM.

Every other month, we will be meeting in Frederick, MD, at the Red Horse Steak House. Networking starts at 6pm, with dinner at 7pm, and a presentation starting promptly at 8pm.

We also hold luncheon meetings in Columbia, MD on the fourth Monday of the month at the Howard County Business Center, 6751 Columbia Gateway, Columbia, MD 21046. These meetings start at 11:30 AM. Please note that payment for the Columbia luncheon meeting is at the door. Online payment via PayPal is currently not available for the Columbia luncheon meetings.

We also have events at NASA Space Flight Facility at Wallops Island, VA and at Aberdeen, MD.
