| Volunteers Needed To Teach PMP Exam Prep Classes |
Fellow PMPs, The PMI Baltimore Chapter in searching for volunteers to teach in the Chapter's PMP Exam Prep series. Prior teaching experience is not required. As a volunteer instructor, you will earn PDUs towards your PMP recertification. You will also be supporting many of our Chapter members in their professional certification efforts. The courses vary in length from one to three hours. You will have available for your use prepared presentation materials (PowerPoint, handouts, etc.). The materials have been used and updated by the PMP volunteer instructors in previously offered PMP Exam Prep courses. You have the option of teaching a course by yourself, or you may choose to partner with another Chapter PMP. The Chapters' goal is to "partner" our new instructors with experienced instructors. We believe this approach offers the best training experience for our PMP exam prep students. The approach is also of value to both experienced instructors and new instructors. |
The Chapter will be offering PMP Exam Preparation Courses this Winter and Spring. The Chapter is partnering with the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) in offering the PMP Exam Prep training. The Chapter will be providing PMPs instructors and CCBC is managing the registration process and providing the training facilities. It is our intention to offer the prep courses at the CCBC Hunt Valley and CCBC Owings Mills campuses. Please join other professional Chapter members in this opportunity to teach. If you are interested, please contact John R. Smith,PMP Director of Certification, PMI Baltimore Chapter, at jsmith@pmibaltimore.org If you have any questions, John can be contacted at 410.345.8151.
