Baltimore's Inner Harbor

Mission

Our mission is to provide a forum for Professional Project Managers to promote the principles of the Project Management Institute through networking with other project managers, sharing project experiences, and formal training.

Objectives

  • Promote professional Project Management principles and techniques with local businesses, universities, and professional organizations.
  • Support our member Project Managers in their certification efforts.
  • Develop and provide quality programs based on local Project Manager needs.
  • Develop a growing and committed membership of local Project Management Professionals through an aggressive recruiting plan.

Who We Are

PMI Baltimore Chapter is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating Project Managers and promoting professionalism in Project Management. As of 1/31/2008 we have over 2,100 members.

We are a proud member of PMI Region 5 Assembly of Chapter Presidents. The Project Management Institute divides the country into several regions, and encourages cooperation and communication between all chapters in each region.

As the Baltimore Chapter is a Registered Education Provider with PMI, you can obtain PDUs (Professional Development Units) by attending chapter meetings and sponsored functions. See our page which is All About PDUs!

All interested Project Managers are invited to our attend our chapter meetings! You do not need to be a PMI member to attend. If you are a Baltimore Chapter member, try making one or two meetings a year: great people, interesting invited speakers and practical discussions of PM issues all await!
